Our Mission
Capital Kids Childcare Center is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where young children can grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically. Our passionate teachers partner with families to build a strong foundation of faith, character, and a love for learning. Through hands-on experiences, Bible teaching, and developmentally appropriate education, we guide children to grow in curiosity, care for others, and thrive as confident, compassionate learners.
Curriculum
Infants
Infant Curriculum teaches little ones about Jesus through simple Bible stories, songs, and hands-on play. Each week guides infants to grow in early learning skills while discovering God’s love.
Waddlers
Year 1 Curriculum blends early learning concepts like colors, shapes, and counting with foundational Bible teachings. Through play, crafts, and memory verses, children experience learning in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way.
Toddlers
Year 2 Curriculum offers a well-rounded foundation in academics, Bible learning, developmental skills, self-care, and pre-writing. It supports growing independence while encouraging curiosity and confidence.
Pre School
Year 3 Curriculum encourages early academic and developmental skills while continuing to incorporate faith-based learning. Through interactive lessons, creative play, and hands-on exploration, children grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.
Pre-K
Year 4 Curriculum strengthens language, early math, and problem-solving skills while continuing to build character and values. Through engaging, hands-on learning, children grow in confidence and independence as they prepare for their next stage of learning.

Yes, we accept DSHS and CCA subsidy reimbursement. You may only be responsible for a copay in certain cases.

Yes, we do. We use the Watch Me Grow app. Parents can log into their child’s classroom between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm every school day.

We follow the Washington State Licensing Guidelines:
Infants: 8 kids to 2 teachers
Waddlers: 12 kids to 2 teachers
Toddlers: 14 kids to 2 teachers
Preschool: 16 to 2 teachers
Pre - K: 16 to 2 teachers

Yes, we do! Along with teaching a developmentally appropriate academic curriculum, we use ABCJesusLovesMe to help guide our instruction with teaching Bible Stories, character development, emotional and social growth, etc.
